Imagine a naked woman scrounging around on hands and knees collecting one-dollar bills into a plastic grocery bag. Imagine that you threw those dollars at her while she danced for you. Imagine her as a mother, a daughter, or a wife. Imagine her as human. 20 Dollar Hoe is my attempt to capture the humanity and agency of the women who populate our nations strip clubs.
